Dr. Hallowell's Cape Cod Institute course changed my life. I cannot tell you how I felt as I sat in each day and realized he was talking about me! As an elementary teacher I was there to learn more about ADHD. I attended with six other faculty members from my school, including my principal and my immediate administration leader, (who happened to be sitting on each side of me.)I leaned over on the third day and asked if there was an alternative reason for letting me attend this conference. I was blown away when I realized that after all these years, my school years growing up and my relationship with my husband fianlly made sense to me. I am now anxiously awaiting "Married to Distraction" and would absolutely love to attend a marriage weekend. Cape Cod was beautiful and coming from New Orleans, (especially after Katrina's devastation, it was a nice change of scenery. Dr. Hallowell had me hooked on every word he spoke. I cannot encourage enough anyone who may be interested in attending. I was fortunate that my school paid for me to go and I am thankful. Before I close...my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to you Dr. Hallowell...

Dear Dr. Hallowell:

Is the July class at Cape Cod open to individuals with ADHD? My purpose for coming would be to learn strategies for staying on track and to learn organizational skills.

I love reading large quantities of material and studying, so my ADHD would not impair my ability to keep up with the professionals taking the class. I think it would also be useful for the professionals in the class to learn about ADHD from the perspective of someone facing the challenges of ADHD, rather than just studying theoretical material related to ADHD.

Thank you for considering my request.
