I first heard you speak at the Learning and Brain Conference in Cambridge. The information from your presentation sparked me to purchase Delivered from Distraction for my son and his wife. My grandson has ADHA and struggles to keep his head above water academically. Because of you, we have been able to help him move from a nice kid who doesn't do well in school to a nice kid who can do well and does.
Thanks.

Congratulations from Mexico. Sorry for my English.
As soon as I can I will get the book. I am psychologist, Medical Family therapist and certified coach. I have a son with ADHD who is studying Psychology. I received a lot of help from teachers who knew about the problem, the neurologist and therapists. That is why I decided to help people with ADHD and their families. My son keeps an attention difficulty but he has developed a lot of strategies to deal with the problem. The theme of your new book will help us lot as well the people I work with.
I use Coaching strategies with ADHD people and helps them a lot. I have written a book about Coaching for ADHD, the editors told me that it will be available on May. If you want I will sent it to you. your books and articles have helped me a lot. Congratulations again. Carmen

Hello Dr. Hallowell!!

I am originally from Boston and met you in the late 80's in London at a conference where you were a featured speaker. I am so delighted to have discovered your blog. While a school psychologist in the Boston area, I referred many people to you, inlcuding my daughter, Beth. I am currently a faculty member at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California and the Director of Graduate Special Education Programs here. I will be attending your Teacher Training in San Francisco on 4/17, as will several of my graduate students. We have been using "Delivered From Distraction" and "Married to Distraction" in my courses and are delighted that we will be able to hear you in person. I look forward to the 17th of April.

Today on Facebook I wrote Married to distraction
Are even your closest relationships undernourished because of you busyness? Despite the ugly cover (there I said it) and even if you are not in a marriage, glean insights into how to deepen relationships with your romantic partner and close friends in Married to Distraction Restoring Intimacy and Strengthening Your Marriage – out in March. One of the most popular speakers at Renaissance Weekend, John Ratey is co-author of Driven to Distraction with the co-author of this insightful book, Ned Hallowell.
