6:00 – 8:30pm Special event all about empowering people with ADHD and other learning difficulties. Held over two evenings in October at the MEYDENBAUER CENTER, BELLEVUE, WA. , the event will feature Dr. Edward “Ned” Hallowell and 2005 National Chess Master and Chess4Life founder Elliott Neff. Both thought-leaders in their field, they will share their insight on how all kids can benefit from having a positive outlet such as chess that teaches patience, planning, and how to grow from mistakes.

Keynote: The Untapped Power of Human Connection.” Using as evidence his own life as depicted in his memoir, “Because I Come from a Crazy Family: The Making of a Psychiatrist”, Dr. Hallowell shows how human connection propels people to overcome tremendous odds.  Easily the most powerful force for good we have in life, connection, which is free and infinite in supply, remains underrated and underused today.  By the time you leave this presentation you will be eager and excited to use it in your own lives every day in many ways.
