Do you take insurance or Medicare/Medicaid?
The Hallowell Center does not accept insurance including Medicare or Medicaid. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you can submit charges to your insurance directly. Upon payment we will provide you with an invoice that includes all of the information you need to submit your bill to insurance. You should check with your insurance company directly to see what services they will cover and how much they will reimburse.
Which payment options do you accept?
The Hallowell Center accepts cash, checks and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). Payment is due at time of service
What is the cancellation policy?
To best serve the many patients who come through our doors, we adhere to strict cancellation policies.
New Patient Evaluations: All new patients must give a 48 hour cancellation notice, otherwise you will be charged 1/2 of the appointment fee.
Ongoing Appointments: Appointments must be cancelled no later than 10:00 am the business day prior to an appointment (for Monday appointments by 10:00 am on Friday.) Appointments cancelled after the deadline will be billed at the full rate of the appointment.
Neuropsychological Testing: A scheduled neuropsychological testing must be cancelled at least one week before the testing is scheduled. One half of the testing fee is charged one week before the testing. If you give less than a weeks notice to cancel, you will lose the deposit.
